The Rules:

~ Pictures must be submitted in a folder named “BUSTed August Special – Your Name”

~ No cocks

~ No sex

~ Pictures must be 1024 x 1024

~ Breast implants must be worn

~ Pictures must be taken in high resolution

~ All attachments must have appropriate skin appliers

~ Preferably no men, but if you *must* have a man in your picture, he must be clothed

Please note, any submissions that fail to stick to these rules and instructions will be rejected without notice.

The best submissions will be chosen to feature in the issue, the decisions of the editors is final.

Happy May Day with a Few BUSTed Girls !

Many Wiccans and Pagans celebrate Beltane.  It is one of eight solar Sabbats.  This holiday incorporates traditions from the Gaelic Bealtaine, such as the bonfire, but it bears more relation to the Germanic May Day festival, both in its significance (focusing on fertility) and its rituals (such as May pole dancing).  Some traditions celebrate this holiday on May 1 or May day, whiles others begin their celebration the eve before or April 30th.

Beltane has long been celebrated with feasts and rituals. The name means fire of Bel; Belinos being one name for the Sun God, whose coronation feast we now celebrate. As summer begins, weather becomes warmer, and the plant world blossoms, an exuberant mood prevails. In old Celtic traditions it was a time of unabashed sexuality and promiscuity where marriages of a year and a day could be undertaken but it is rarely observed in that manner in modern times. 

In the old Celtic times, young people would spend the entire night in the woods "A-Maying," and then dance around the phallic Maypole the next morning. Older married couples were allowed to remove their wedding rings (and the restrictions they imply) for this one night. May morning is a magickal time for wild water (dew, flowing streams, and springs) which is collected and used to bathe in for beauty, or to drink for health.

The Christian religion had only a poor substitute for the life-affirming Maypole -- namely, the death-affirming cross. Hence, in the Christian calendar, this was celebrated as 'Roodmas'. In Germany, it was the feast of Saint Walpurga, or 'Walpurgisnacht'. An alternative date around May 5 (Old Beltane), when the sun reaches 15 degrees Taurus, is sometimes employed by Covens. (Both 'Lady Day' and 'Ostara' are names incorrectly assigned to this holiday by some modern traditions of Wicca.) 

The May pole was a focal point of the old English village rituals. Many people would rise at the first light of dawn to go outdoors and gather flowers and branches to decorate their homes. Women traditionally would braid flowers into their hair. Men and women alike would decorate their bodies. Beltane marks the return of vitality, of passion. Ancient Pagan traditions say that Beltane marks the emergence of the young God into manhood. Stirred by the energies at work in nature, he desires the Goddess. They fall in love, lie among the grasses and blossoms, and unite. The Goddess becomes pregnant of the God. To celebrate, a wedding feast, for the God and Goddess must be prepared.

As you maybe are aware I will be taking over as Editor in Chief of Busted Magazine on the 1st of December alongside my partners Tara and Colleen.

We are looking for people interested in the opportunity to being guest photographers, either in our fashion or glamor articles. Your work should be to a high standard and both original and inventive.

Do you enjoy writing, exploring, fashion, events, shopping, blogging and making new friends.  Busted is also looking for new writers to contribute articles both Fiction and none fiction, this could be about travel, exploring, new technology and creations, product reviews, new, sims or groups, anything you think would be interesting to our readers. We are also recruiting a team of Fashion Models, this would not be for the regular glamour photospreads, but for our Designer of the Month and fashion spread articles. Something new is happening and we at Opium Films Group are super excited to share this with you and be part of this.

Maggie Bluxome, the owner and creative force behind Busted magazine is retiring from her role and has handed over the reigns to a new team of partners in the magazine. The team is as follows:

Don't panic if you are a fan of Busted, we are not coming in to tear it up and start again. We wanted to take over this project when the opportunity arose, because we LOVE what Maggie has achieved and are thrilled at the chance to work with it and build on it, while sticking to Maggie's principles behind the magazine.

How excited am I !!! It's always fabulous when you work hard to turn out the very best work your skills can produce and have someone say "hey! I like that".



Shooting photos is something I've been passionate about, shooting for BUSTed is something I am really proud to do. The models are all from the SL busty (implant) community and some of the most beautiful on the grid.

Catching Serenity's eye :) with a photo shoot is awesome , she literally looks at 100's of photos daily and that's when she is not shooting them or making a video or tending to running her own businesses !


Akiko  Aviatik is one of those beautiful avatars that make my passion for shooting even easier!!

Brains & Boobs: Colleen Photographs Debbie

I was very pleased and excited to see this post from Pixie Rain, one of those people I have admired since I 1st found her work in the Adult  and Art scenes in Second Life. One of the things I respect most is that she combines the 2 worlds quite nicely and shares her visions .

Meeting Debbie was another hi-light for my Second Life, shes fun, warm and talented. She is a strong and definite persona . I love her vision for her avatar, all business and lady with a touch of wild side! She's had a long and very productive Second Life and she enjoys it and it shows in the 1st 5 minutes of conversation that she is just an awesome person.

These are the things that keep me coming back to Second Life day after days these 5 years. Creativity and the opportunity to meet truly fabulous people along the way.

Thank you Pixie, for all you do and for introducing me to another truly wonderful person !
